Cheyenne Toney
Cheyenne Toney made her debut in 2013 at the age of 18 on the TV hit show 'The Voice Of Holland' and made it to the semi-finals. With her rendition of Stromae's 'Formidable', she reached number 1 on the Dutch charts. In the following years, she performed with Marco Borsato (a duet in his Ziggo Dome concert series), with the Sister Sledge, and gave a performance at Humberto Tan's hit concept 'Let's Dance'. In 2015, she released an EP ('Mijn Hart') and has since focused on writing more original material. Her music can be described as a mix of Urban and Pop with a Caribbean touch. The singles 'Hartslag' and 'Zonnebloem' were collaborations with producers Kris Salvathore & Jeremiah Jhauw (YR$ TRLY). In 2021, Cheyenne received a gold record for the song 'Bootycall' together with Jasha Rudge. Cheyenne releases solo tracks as well as collaborations with other artists, including Skinto, Piet Junior, Haas, Cirino Brown/Kleine Viezerik/Leeroy. She has performed in musicals, taught theater lessons, and also does voice-overs, MC-ing, and presenting. She is currently touring with her own show. Her album is on the way.
