Elif Murat
Elif Murat is a classically trained/ multi-instrumentalist now unleashing her love of music by creating electronic music. Since she was a child, growing up in Turkey, she studied classical piano, but she always had an interest in electronic music. She finished her Master's degree on classical piano in Leipzig, Germany. During that time, she also played concerts as a classical pianist in Turkey, Germany and the United States. She started to dive more into improvisation and the technical aspects of producing.
After graduating from the Amsterdam Electronic Music Academy (AEMA) at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam this June, she continues her ongoing collaborations with multiple producers as well as with visual and performance artists. Her ultimate goal as composer/ producer/ DJ is to be versatile, genre fluid and to combine her ethnic, classical and electronic background in her productions and live performances.
